Purpose:

Rochester City School District is seeking a firm to administer a dependent eligibility verification initiative (aka “dependent audit”.) The verification is being conducted to ensure that only eligible dependents are enrolled in appropriate plans. The plan is seeking bids that will ensure and maintain eligibility of dependents on coverage. Bids should include a full review of dependents currently covered by the plan, and dependents added in the future as a result new hire and enrollment activity.
Rochester City School District currently provides a comprehensive benefits package to employees and their families. This analysis will just include medical benefits.
The dependent verification will involve a one-time comprehensive review of eligibility for 100% of the plan participants including, but not limited to, covered employees, retirees, and their dependents to identify ineligible participants. This review will involve the verification of dependents added as a result of new hire and enrollment activities.
By submitting a response to this RFP, the provider expressly acknowledges that Rochester City School District’s data, plans, financial data, contents of the RFP, and other employer information disclosed in this process are the sole and exclusive property of Rochester City School District. The provider agrees that it will safeguard such information to the same extent it safeguards its own confidential material or data relating to its own business information that is of a confidential or proprietary nature. The provider agrees that it will not disclose any of the Rochester City School District information to any third party without the express, written permission of Rochester City School District.
