RFP-042610 - Independent Compliance Officer Services

Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to solicit qualified firms/individuals to provide the Rochester Joint Schools Construction Board (RJSCB) with Independent Compliance Officer services. The RJSCB is the governing entity of the Facilities Modernization Program (FMP) of the Rochester City School District and the City of Rochester. 

 

 

The Independent Compliance Officer (ICO) (individual or firm) will be hired by, and report directly to, the RJSCB. The ICO will sit on the Board as a non-voting member. The ICO will be an individual/firm with an in-depth knowledge base and breadth of experience conducting minority and women-owned business enterprise (MWBE) and disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) utilization compliance monitoring for public contracts within New York State, including school districts. The ICO will be familiar with all rules, laws and regulations pertaining to affirmative action and equal opportunity hiring in the construction field.
