The Rochester City School District (the “District”) is seeking Proposals to qualified entities seeking to act as the insurance “Broker of Record” (“Broker”) for the District with respect to the District’s liability and casualty insurance policies, and to be responsible for the design of an optimal insurance portfolio, annual marketing of the District’s insurance portfolio, obtaining the highest value insurance portfolio for the lowest cost to the District, responding to the daily insurance-related needs of the District, providing loss control and risk management services, assistance with claims, recommendations regarding reducing exposures, and overall administration of a comprehensive liability and casualty insurance portfolio, including any related matters. Prospective Brokers must offer a proposal that meets the qualifications, scope of services, and general description of work activities identified in this RFP.
The selected Broker would be expected to commence this work in mid-2025 (month TBD), for an initial contract term of one year, with an option to renew the contract for up to four additional one-year terms exercisable solely in the discretion and judgment of the District.
