Summary of Specifications:
The Rochester Joint Schools Construction Board (“RJSCB” or Owner) is seeking bids from qualified professional moving companies to provide moving services for the Rochester Schools Modernization Program (RSMP). The purpose of this role is to execute the relocation plan that has been developed by the RSMP, which will result in the relocation of affected schools from their existing location into temporary swing space for the Summer of 2012. Certain facilities may require intermediate storage items in warehouse facilities, and a small amount of items may need to be stored in climate-controlled storage spaces, as more particularly set forth in the Supporting Information for each facility (see Appendix F). The Rochester Joint School Construction Board is seeking qualifications and bids from professional moving companies who will implement the physical relocation of contents, equipment and furniture for one or more of the schools in phase 1A of the RSMP: • Enrico Fermi School 17 (K-6, Summer 2012), • Helen Barrett Montgomery School 50 (K-6, Summer 2012), • World of Inquiry School 58 (K-7, Summer 2012), • Charlotte HS (summer 2012), • and any other non-school construction related moves as deemed necessary by the RJSCB.
