Prerequisites:
The bidder shall be a manufacturer or a duly authorized representative of the manufacturer of the products.
The bidder must have at least one officer or official holding a college or university degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or sanitary engineering, with at least five (5) years of experience in treating water systems of similar size, capacity and type. Such person shall be responsible for, and actively involved in, the treatment program(s) established with the District, including but not limited to, the periodic tests and inspections specified herein.
The bidder must show evidence of a long-term successful track record for both the product(s) and services bid upon. In addition, the product(s) proposed must be a readily available standard product(s).
The bidder must have a local office with laboratory capability within a 25 mile radius of Rochester, New York.
The designated technician assigned to service the RCSD must possess a First or Second Class Stationary Engineer’s License, R3 or R4 Refrigeration License and must be a Licensed Pesticide Applicator.
