Notice of Request for Proposals
Construction Management Services
The Rye Neck School District (School District) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the selection of a construction manager for an approved capital improvement project totaling $27.6M. The capital improvement project includes roof work at each school building, construction of a new Middle School gymnasium and new construction of a two-story 8 classroom STEAM wing. Work will include all site improvements, original furnishings, equipment, machinery, apparatus and ancillary or related work required in connection therewith. You are invited to submit proposals in accordance with this RFP.
RFPS shall be submitted in sealed envelopes marked "Construction Management Services” on the outside. RFP’s will be received until 10:00 am, January 17, 2019, by the Purchasing Agent (or duly designated representative), Rye Neck UFSD, Administration Building, 310 Hornidge Road, Mamaroneck, NY 10543 – Phone (914) 777-5210. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at www.bidnetdirect.com or from the district Business Office. The bidder assumes the risk of any delay in the mail, or in the handling of the mail by employees of the Rye Neck Union Free School District, as well as improper hand delivery.
RFPs which are incomplete, conditional or obscure may be rejected as informal. No oral or telephonic proposals or modifications of bid will be considered. There is no deposit required for bidding documents.
In the event that on January 17, 2019, the Rye Neck School District is closed or has an early dismissal due to weather or any other emergency, proposals will be due at 10:00 A.M. on the next day that the school district is in session.

The Board of Education reserves the right to waive any information in or to reject any or all RFPs, or to accept part of any proposal, to re-advertise if deemed necessary and/or to accept the proposal which in the judgment of the Board of Education appears to be in the best interest of the school district.
