Saratoga County is requesting bids from qualified tower manufacturing firms to provide and install a 15’ Extension piece for its steel monopole communication tower, used in its public safety communications system at its 393 Military Road, Edinburg, New York location. Bids will be received until August 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Saratoga County Purchasing Office, 50 West High Street, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.

The successful vendor shall provide Saratoga County with a 15’ extension piece for a 90’ monopole steel tower described in this RFP including, the 15’ monopole extension piece shall be steel with galvanized finish as per ASTM A-123 and designed using the TIA/EIA-222-F Standard.
The successful vendor shall include in its proposal to Saratoga County, permitting and engineering fees to include Photos-Sims as required by APA, a stamped analysis of a 105’ Monopole, Saratoga County filing fee; all materials associated with a 15’ pole extension and installation of a pole extension; removal and re-installation of an existing 1 meter parabolic dish with re-alignment to the County’s Spruce Mountain location. Package shall include, but not be limited to, all hardware, bolts, nuts, fasteners.
