Saratoga County, through its Purchasing Department, is requesting proposals from qualified engineering consulting firms to provide preliminary engineering analysis of existing treatment capacity of ammonia. The engineering firm, based upon the findings will also provide design, administrative, and construction phase services for the upgrade to the Aeration System at the Saratoga County Sewer District #1 (SCSD) Wastewater Treatment Plant which is owned, operated, and maintained by SCSD.

An informational meeting for prospective consultants will be held at the SCSD treatment plant Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Site inspections will be available at this time.
All designs, evaluations, reports, and data related to the Wastewater Treatment Plant will be available for review at the SCSD Administrative Office located at the treatment plant, 1002 Hudson River Road Mechanicville NY 12118. Appointments to review the information must be scheduled in advance by calling (518) 664-7396.
