Description

SUNY Schenectady County Community College (“SUNY Schenectady” or the “College”) is accepting bids from qualified vendors to provide computer hardware in support of virtual education at the College. Bids shall cover all materials and delivery to perform services in conformity with this Request for Bids (RFB).

The College is specifying manufacturer, model specifications and service plan features. Due to the College’s desire to standardize computer hardware for maintenance and IT support purposes, we will not accept substitution hardware or alternate service plan specifications.

Questions should be emailed to purchasing@sunysccc.edu not later than March 17, 2021, 4:30 pm. Answers will be provided via an addendum to this announcement.on/about March 29. 2021.

Please review the TIMETABLE OF KEY EVENTS on page one of the RFB document for other details of the procurement. Particular attention should be given to the required forms/format detailed in the document.
Bidders must also include the following with their bids:

Information on the bidding organization and its experience with delivering computer hardware and service plans in a timely manner.
A proposed schedule for the delivery of the requested hardware and service plan
Information on the manufacturer’s base warranty (must be a minimum of 12 months).
Completed IRS Form W-9, Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification
