Summary of Specifications:
Schenectady County is seeking to retain an engineering firm (the “consultant”) to provide survey, engineering and design services for the project. The project involves construction of approximately 1.3 miles of 10’ wide multi-use path along the north side of Maxon Road from the Mohawk-Hudson Bike Trail at Technology Drive to Freeman’s Bridge/Erie Boulevard and through the ALCO redevelopment site to River Street (see attached map). The project involves an at grade railroad crossing on Maxon Road. Depending on cost, project elements may include various landscaping, lighting, signage and gateway/trailhead design elements.
