The County of Schenectady will be accepting proposals for construction of the Rehabilitate Runway 4-22 Pavement and Reconstruct Runway 4-22 Edge Lighting and Airfield Guidance Signs and Rehabilitate Taxiway ‘C’ and Adjacent Run-up Apron Pavement and Reconstruct Taxiway ‘C’ Edge Lighting and Airfield Guidance Signs project at the Schenectady County Airport, Glenville, New York. Work is to generally include the following items:
This project includes the Rehabilitation of Runway 4-22 and Taxiway ‘C’ at Schenectady County Airport. The project consists of a Base Bid, Add Alt No 1, 2, and 3. The Base Bid portion of the project encompasses the Rehabilitation of the pavement for Runway 4-22 (7,001 LF x 150 LF) with Reconstruction of the accompanied Lighting and Signage systems. The Add Alt No. 1 portion of the project encompasses Full-Depth Reconstruction of Taxiway ‘C’ and it’s Adjacent Run-up Area (30,240 SF), and its accompanied Lighting and Signage systems. Add Alt No. 2 and 3 are portions fully funded by the Air National Guard and consist of installation of Assault Panel Foundations and Air Force Rated Aircraft Tie-Downs, respectively.
