OLD RIVER ROAD (C.R.1) OVER TRIBUTARY TO MOHAWK RIVER CULVERT REPLACEMENT
Notice is hereby given that the Schenectady County will accept sealed bids for the Old River Road (C.R.1) over Tributary to Mohawk River Culvert Replacement Project (PIN 1762.08).
The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the Plans and
described in these Specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Implementation of a road closure and detour plan, removal of the existing culvert and replacement with a new precast concrete box culvert measuring 10-foot clear span by 4-foot rise, all necessary excavations and backfilling to set the new culvert, cast-in-place concrete wingwalls, temporary waterway diversion structures and cofferdams, new box beam guide rail installation, temporary waterline bypass and permanent reconstruction, and site restoration. The total reconstruction length is approximately 125 feet.
This is an exempt capital improvement project, and Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials which are to be incorporated into the work. There
are no residential or geographical restrictions will be in effect for this project.

purchasing@schenectadycountyny.gov. Paper copies may be picked up at the Purchasing Department, 2nd Floor, Schenectady County Office Building at 620 State Street, Schenectady,
New York, 12305 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. weekdays, but must be requested via email 24 hours in advance.
No questions or inquiries regarding this Bid will be accepted within seven (7) business days prior to the Bid opening. No pre-bid conference is scheduled.
Bids to be considered must be received in a sealed envelope to the Schenectady County Purchasing Agent located at 620 State Street, 2nd Floor, Schenectady, NY 12305. Bids must be delivered in a sealed envelope marked “BID” annotated with Old River Road (C.R.1) over Tributary to Mohawk River Culvert Replacement, PIN 1762.08, RFB 2024-18 not later than 11:00 AM, May 16, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish Performance, Payment and Guarantee Bonds from an acceptable Surety Company for an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid. The successful Bidder and all subcontractors must have an approved CCA-2 on file with NYSDOT prior to being awarded a contract. If the successful Bidder does not currently have a CCA-2 on file with NYSDOT, the Bidder may find the CCA-2 forms and instruction for completion online at:
