Summary of Specifications:
Schenectady County Department of Senior and Long Term Care Services is seeking proposals for funding subject to the availability of Federal and/or State funds for programs to assist the County’s elderly in 2013. Proposals are being sought for projects designed to “improve the ability of Schenectady County residents 60 years and older to remain independent in their homes and participate in community life”. Of special concern is the development of cost-effective program services for the elderly with greatest social and economic needs (the frail, disabled, minorities and isolated). We welcome for consideration innovative methods of service delivery that will increase participation and units of service provided.
