Urban Development (HUD) to provide decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing to
low and moderate-income families. The Authority is regulated by the Housing Act of
1937 as amended, and regulations promulgated pursuant thereto, and applicable laws
of the State of New York. The Authority administers several affordable housing
programs, serving about 2,500 families.
