2024-06 - Lead Based Paint Liability Insurance

The purpose of this Request for Quotes is to contract with one insurance agent
(Contractor) to obtain Lead Based Paint Liability Insurance for the Schenectady
Municipal Housing Authority (Authority).
The intent of this Request for Quotes is to award a contract to the lowest responsible
and responsive bidder whose bid meets the requirements of the SOLICITATION.
Bidders shall make all investigations necessary to thoroughly inform themselves about
the Authority's operations. No plea of ignorance by the bidder of conditions that exist or
that may hereafter exist as a result of failure or omission on the part of the bidder to
make the necessary examinations and investigations, or failure to fulfill in every detail
the requirements of the solicitation, will be accepted as a basis for varying the
requirements of the Authority or the compensation to the vendor.
Amendments: If it becomes necessary to revise this solicitation, amendments will be
posted at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/smha1. It is the responsibility of the
bidder to check this website throughout the open bidding period. The Authority will not
be responsible for incorrect bids due to bidder’s noncompliance with amendments.
