NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: The Suffolk County Water Authority (“SCWA”) is interested in seeking the names and qualifications of law firms and individuals interested in serving as defense counsel to handle certain tort claims against the SCWA. The types of tort claims include trip and fall, vehicle accidents, water main breaks and other negligence. The SCWA currently has a self-insured retention of $500,000 that is administered by a third-party administrator (TPA). Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. currently serves as the TPA although SCWA may change the TPA from time to time for any reason. Approved defense counsel will be required to work with the SCWA’s General Counsel and its TPA and conform to the SCWA Litigation Management Guidelines.
Deadline for submission – Your proposal must be submitted, not later than April 4, 2025, 11:00 a.m., EST. Bids will only be accepted electronically; prospective bidders must submit their bids via the following website: www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york.
