2024-009 - STP UV Replacement Project- General Contract

The project consists of the following:  

• Coordinate with the Village of Suffern STP Operator and/or his designatee.
• Demolish the existing UV units and their associated control panels and electrical components.
• Demolish the existing vertical turbine UV pumps.
• Demolish the chemical feed system and water lines as shown on the plans.
• Furnish and install two (2) non-contact type UV units and their appurtenances. (Electrical connections by others.)
• Furnish and install an elevated platform between the UV units.
• Furnish and install three (3) vertical turbine pumps. (Electrical connections by others.)
• Furnish and install two (2) electrically actuated butterfly valves and a control panel. (Electrical connections by others.)
• Bidders for this project are required to comply with the Village Apprenticeship Training Program requirements.
• The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, utilities, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work as specified in the Technical Specifications and as shown on the Plans.
• This project is funded with New York State Financial Assistance and is subject to MWBE and SDVOB goals and additional required documentation.
