NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That sealed proposals for the Construction of A 20” X 10”- Diameter Well (No. 3A) Approximately 515 Feet Deep, to Be Located at The Third Avenue Well Field, Brentwood, Town of Islip will be received by the Purchasing Director of the Suffolk County Water Authority at 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY 11739, not later than 11:00 a.m., prevailing time on December 10, 2021, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. In addition, Bids will be accepted electronically, prospective bidders have the opportunity to submit their bids via the following website: www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york.
Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents are available for you to download by login into the following websites www.scwa.com or www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york. Questions and answers will also be posted on the public websites noted above.
Details relating to the proposed work are also on file and publicly exhibited at the Office of the Purchasing Department, of the Suffolk County Water Authority, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, New York 11739 where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application.
An optional pre-bid meeting and walk through will take place at the site on December 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. The site is located at 51 Third Avenue Brentwood, Town of Islip. It is strongly recommended that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting.
Minority and Women Owned Businesses are encouraged to bid.
