NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That sealed proposals for Furnishing & Installation of Piping / Plumbing Systems and Equipment for the Oak Beach Road Pump Station, Babylon, New York will be received by the Purchasing Director of the Suffolk County Water Authority at 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, New York 11739, no later than 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, on April 12, 2023, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. In addition, Bids will be accepted electronically, prospective bidders have the opportunity to submit their bids via the following website: www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york
Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents are available for you to download by login in to the following websites www.scwa.com; or www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york. Questions and answers will also be posted on the public websites noted above.
A Suffolk County Water Authority Engineer will meet the prospective Bidders at 10:00 a.m., March 22, 2023 for a pre-bid meeting. The pre-bid meeting will be held at the Oak Beach Road Well Field and Pump Station. The Oak Beach Road Well Field and Pump Station is located at 108 Oak Beach Road, Babylon, New York, 11702. The Site is located on the south side of Oak Beach Road Approximately 1750’ west of Cooper Walk, Town of Babylon, NY. It is strongly recommended that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting
Details relating to the proposed work are also on file and publicly exhibited at the Office of the Purchasing Department, of the Suffolk County Water Authority, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, New York 11739 where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application.
Minority and Women Owned Businesses are encouraged to bid.
