NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That electronic proposals for Installation by Directional Drill Technology – Water Mains and Services will be received by the Suffolk County Water Authority no later than 11:00AM, March 17, 2025, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. In addition, Bids will be accepted electronically, prospective bidders have the opportunity to submit their bids via the following website: www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york.
Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents are available for you to download by login in to the following websites www.scwa.com or www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york. Questions and answers will also be posted on the public websites noted above.
In order to participate in an On-Line Bid Opening please send an email request to John.Deubel@scwa.com, an email invite will be sent, to those who requested to attend the On-Line Bid Opening.
Apprenticeship Agreement: The Suffolk County Water Authority requires, pursuant to New York Labor Law Section 816-b, all Contractors and Subcontractors shall have, apprenticeship agreements appropriate for the type and scope of work to be performed under this Contract, that are registered with and approved by the New York State Commissioner of Labor pursuant to the requirements of New York Labor Law Article 23. Evidence of such agreements for both contractors and subcontractors, if any, must be submitted with the bid.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to bid.
