NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That sealed proposals for painting and carpentry at various pump station sites on Fire Island in Suffolk County, NY, will be received by the Purchasing Director of the Suffolk County Water Authority at 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY 11739, not later than 11:00 a.m., prevailing time, on January 4, 2018 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Complete details and specifications relating to the proposed work are on file and publicly exhibited at the Purchasing Department of the Authority, 3525 Sunrise Highway, Great River, NY 11739, where copies of said documents may be obtained upon application. You may also register your company on our website at www.scwa.com and/or www.empirestatebidsystem.com and request "More Info" on Contract No. 7490.
A pre-bid meeting at the Fire Island sites will take place December 19, 2017. Any Bidder who wishes to attend this meeting shall make arrangements by contacting Bill Lazar of the Engineering Department of the Authority at 631-831-8725. It is strongly recommended that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting.
Minority and Women Owned Businesses are encouraged to bid.
