R23-003 - Employee Assistance Program

Suffolk County Community College (College) invites proposals (Proposal(s)) from qualified companies (Company) to implement an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that provides direct services for life challenges and offers health and wellness support.  The Employee Assistance Program will focus on the following:

1. 1. Employee Awareness and Education which will provide more information to assist the employee with proactively improving their health, provide programs to support healthy lifestyles, and encourage and increase employee engagement which will in turn increase employment retention and productivity.
   2. Various methods of supporting physical and mental health including but not limited, to an employee hotline, websites, workshops, webinars, on campus events, portals and support groups.
   3. Providing Life Challenge Support to Employees to address family issues, substance abuse, domestic violence, bereavement and grief, physical health, trauma and critical incidents, nutrition, fitness, and stress management.
