The Amherst Central Fire Alarm office operates a Motorola three-site simulcast repeater system for first responders within the jurisdiction for the Town of Amherst Central Fire Alarm Office. The Alarm Office’s jurisdiction encompasses the fire districts of Akron, Clarence, Clarence Center, East Amherst, Eggertsville, Ellicott Creek, Getzville, Harris Hill, Main Transit, Newstead, North Amherst, North Bailey, Rapids, Snyder, Swormville and Williamsville. We intend to improve the portable radio coverage throughout our jurisdiction, talking into our F1 repeated primary channel.
