to Town residents to promote its Food Scrap Recycling program, in an effort to prevent food waste. This is being done in conjunction with a grant received from the NYS DEC. It is anticipated that the Town will purchase approximately 10,000 containers through 2022. In addition, the Refuse Department will be purchasing approximately 20 food scrap totes, for temporary storage of residential food scraps prior to being transported for recycling. Pricing for both the food scrap containers and totes must include the cost of logo/branding.
