Summary of Specifications:
This bid is to secure the services of a firm experienced in truck scale and associated equipment repair and calibration of our on-site Weigh-Tronix steel bridge, flat top pit less motor truck scale and associated equipment, as described within this bid document on an “as needed basis” as requested by the Town of Amherst. This scale is located at the Town of Amherst WPCF located at 455 Tonawanda Creek Road, Amherst NY 14228. ITEM #1: This “straight time” hourly labor charge shall be for truck scale and associated equipment repair and calibration service technicians up to an (8) eight hour work day starting upon arrival on site mentioned above Monday through Friday.
ITEM #2: This “overtime” hourly charge shall be for truck scale and associated equipment repair and calibration service technicians anytime after and (8) eight hour work day Monday through Friday, anytime on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
ITEM #3: This fee shall be a call out charge to include but not limited to: time for personnel to arrive at site, truck charges, mileage, travel, equipment. This charge will be only allowed once per calendar day of work.
ITEM #4: This Calibration Equipment charge (if applicable) is to cover vehicles, equipment and/or materials needed to perform calibration/certification. This charge will be only allowed once per calendar day of work.
ITEM #5: This percentage is for repair parts or materials requested by the Town of Amherst to make approved repairs. This will be charged to the Town of Amherst as follows:
