ITB-Mercury Spill Remedation Project - Latham Water District Mercury Spill Remediation Project

Summary of Specifications:
The work includes, but is not limited to, cleaning and/or removal and closure of floor drain system in the basement of the High Lift Pump Station; closure of approximately 350 feet of the approximately 400 feet of discharge pipe from this floor drain system by filling with lightweight concrete fill; physical removal of the last 50 feet of the discharge pipe not filled with lightweight concrete fill; excavation and proper disposal off-site of mercury impacted sediment/soil located in a wetland starting at the outfall of the discharge pipe from the High Lift Pump Station; restoration of the wetland; erosion and sediment controls; and characterization, handling, transportation and disposal of wastes generated during the work.
