The Town of Cortlandt is requesting proposals from Contractors to drill approximately (63) Sixty Three borings along Root Street, Hollowbrook Place, Hollowbrook Lane, Hollowbrook CT (N&S) and Hillview Place in an effort to determine the subsurface strata along the route of a proposed water main replacement project along these streets, located in the Town of Cortlandt Please see the attached sketch maps for approximate boring locations on each road. Also included are photos along the roads where the borings are to be drilled. Please note, boring locations may be adjusted after the Code 753 is called in and utilities are marked in the field. Proposed boring locations will be marked in the field by the Town of Cortlandt prior to start of the work. Please note, final boring locations will be in areas accessible by drilling rigs sized for the nature of this work.

The work required under this Proposal shall include, but is not limited too, furnishing all supervision, labor and personnel, maintenance and protection of traffic, materials, equipment and ancillary support necessary to complete the work described in the Scope. It is not intended that this description be all inclusive of each and every item required, but rather serve as information illustrating the general scope and nature of work for the convenience of the Bidders.
