RFB- TE Contract 2016.02 - Demolition of Residential Structure - 2 Lafayette Street Verplanck

Summary of Specifications:
Demolition and disposal of the residential structure and associated debris located at 2 Lafayette Street, Hamlet of Verplanck, Town of Cortlandt, New York 10567 (tax map id 54.05.-3-53). The structure has been damaged by fire and has been deemed dangerous to the general public by the Town. All other structures not damaged by fire shall remain. The foundation shall be cut 1 foot from adjacent grade and entirely backfilled. Portions of the material may contain lead and asbestos (refer to Appendix B). Prospective bidders must be fully licensed and trained for the removal and handling of all contaminated materials. The Contractor is fully responsible for removal and proper disposal of all waste in accordance with applicable Local, State and Federal codes. Demolition will follow the procedures outlined in 12NYCRR Part 56-11.5 – Controlled Demolition with Asbestos in Place.
