The Town of Cortlandt, herein after “Town,” seeks to enter into an agreement with a qualified individual, firm or corporation, “Proposer,” to provide services for the Town of Cortlandt CHARLES J. COOK POOL REPLASTER AND REPAIR (PHASE II), herein “Project.” Project shall include, but not limited to all materials and labor for the removal of current pool plaster, repairs to any underlying concrete, preparation, and application of new pool plaster. Services do not include pool draining and filling or equipment activation. Services do include oversight of proper balancing of swimming pool water chemistry after filling.

The purpose of the mandatory meeting and walk through is to insure: Proposers have a clear understanding of the Town needs and have an opportunity to identify any problems that might hinder or prevent the Town from obtaining the proper services, at a fair and reasonable price; The accuracy of specifications, descriptions, solicitation terms and conditions, and documents; Proposers not attending the mandatory meeting and walk through will not be permitted to submit a Bid. Attendance will be taken at the meeting; It is the responsibility of the Proposer to be familiar with the specifications herein, to take all required measurements, and to ask any relevant questions regarding this solicitation. Any changes resulting from the pre-Bid conference that affect specifications or the scope of work, or that may require an extension to the Bid opening date, will be an amendment to the RFP. Such amendment will be emailed directly to all attendees of the mandatory meeting and walk through.
