Please take notice that the Town Board of the Town of Dover, Dutchess County, New York, will accept sealed bids for automatic (ADA-compliant) door opener equipment purchase and installation at three Town of Dover buildings.
Bid packages will be available starting Monday, September 14, 2020 at the Town of Dover Town Clerk’s Office located at 126 East Duncan Hill Rd., Dover Plains, NY between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, by email at townclerk@townofdoverny.us and on the Town of Dover’s website at https://www.doverny.us/ under the “Business” banner and in the dropdown menu, “Bids and RFPs.”
The bid packet with also be published on Empire State Purchasing Group (BidNet Direct) at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/solicitations/open-bids/page1. No electronic bids will be accepted.
A contractor’s site meeting for interested bidders may be scheduled by contacting the Town Clerk’s Office, Dover Town Hall, 126 East Duncan Hill Rd, Dover Plains at (845) 832-6111 Ext. 112 or by email at townclerk@townofdoverny.us by, Monday, October 5, 2020.
Due to the COVID-19, the bid opening for the Town of Dover Buildings’ Automatic (ADA-Compliant) Door Opener Equipment Purchase and Installation Project will be conducted REMOTELY. Anyone who wants to join the bid opening can do so by emailing Town of Dover Town Clerk Katie Palmer-House at townclerk@townofdoverny.us for instructions and an access code- on or before 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020. The Town of Dover plans to use WWW.FREECONFERENCECALL to conduct the remote bid opening.
Submitted bids shall be in a sealed envelope and marked “Town of Dover Buildings’ Automatic (ADA-Compliant) Door Opener Equipment Purchase and Installation Project” and must be received by the Town Clerk’s Office, Dover Town Hall, 126 East Duncan Hill Rd., Dover Plains, NY no later than 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
