The Town seeks the lowest responsible estimate, quote or proposal for the preparation and painting of walls and trim of the interior of the Building Department Office at Dover Town Hall, 126 East Duncan Hill Rd., Dover Plains, NY.
The scope of work, RFP Cost Summary page and NYS Prevailing Wage Schedule will be available starting Friday February 23, 2024 by calling the Dover Town Clerk’s Office at (845) 832-6111 Ext. 112, posted on the Town’s website on the “Bids and RFPs” webpage https://www.doverny.us/bids, and on the Empire State Purchasing Group/Bidnet website, https://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york.
The space is approximately 720 sq. of wall surface and interested bidders are invited to schedule a site visit by contacting the Building Dept. Secretary at (845) 832-6111 Ext. 103 or by email at building@doverny.us before noon on Thursday, March 7, 2024. The project scope of work includes:
- remove vinyl base cove and patch accordingly to facilitate the installation of new vinyl cove base by others.
- scrape and patch walls /trim where necessary. Caulk trim where necessary.
- spot prime all patch work and apply two coats of finish paint.
- trim paint work includes millwork around 1 door and 2 windows.
- complete work in a professional manner with daily cleanups as necessary.
This is a public works project and subject to payment of NYS prevailing wages.
The project timeframe is a start date on or about April 1, 2024 with completion by mid-April, 2024.
Project estimates, quotes and proposals must be received in paper format by 10 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 2024 at the Dover Town Clerk’s at Dover Town Hall, 126 East Duncan Hill Rd., Dover Plains, NY when they will be opened and publicly. No electronic or faxed estimates, quotes or proposal will be accepted.
