REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS FOR TOWN ZONING CODE UPDATE CONSULTING SERVICES
The Town of Dover seeks requests for proposals (RFPs) for consulting services to assist with an update to the Town’s Zoning Code in follow-up to the adoption of the Town’s Comprehensive Plan Update.
The scope of services will include topic-specific assistance with the developing of the following zoning codes: solar power generation, short-term home rental (Air BnB), Cannabis retail and production operations, economic development-based code changes, subdivision/lot line adjustment language and procedures, erosion and sediment control thresholds and procedures and also include a final review of the entire updated Zoning Code document (with a report documenting the review provided in digital form). The Town also requests attendance at up to four (4) Zoning Code Update committee meetings (in-person or virtual) and in-person attendance at one (1) public hearing preceding the adoption of the Zoning Code Update.
RFP packets will be available starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the Town Clerk’s Office, Dover Town Hall, 126 East Duncan Hill Rd., Dover Plains, NY and also available upon request by email to townclerk@doverny.us, by phone call to (845) 832-6111 Ext. 112, and on the Town of Dover’s “Bids and RFPs” webpage at https://www.doverny.us/bids. RFPs must be received in a sealed envelope marked, “Town of Dover Zoning Code Update Consulting Services” by 10 a.m. on Friday, December 23, 2022 when they will be opened and public read.
