RFP-VC-2015-01 - Sidewalk Feasibility Study

Summary of Specifications:
The Town of Greenburgh aims to improve our sidewalk network for the safety of children, parents and the public walking to and from schools and places of public transportation. To achieve this goal, the Town desires to retain a Professional Engineering, Traffic, or Planning Consultant with demonstrated experienced performing the study and analysis of pedestrian and vehicular travel patterns to assist in the development of sidewalks. The goal of the study is to determine (1) if installation and construction of a sidewalk is justified and practical based upon current use, safety observations, and projected future use; (2) if a sidewalk is recommended the Consultant shall provide a discussion of construction feasibility, impediments and budgetary costs.
