The principal features of the work is the removal and replacement of 1,650± linear feet of 12” cement lined ductile iron water main pipe, removal and replacement of 950± linear feet of varying diameter service and connection pipes, installation of new valves, hydrants and fittings, temporary water service provisions, removal of existing and replacement with 2,650± linear feet of 8” to 12” ceramic epoxy lined ductile iron pipe, 700± feet of 4” sewer laterals, new sewer manholes, castings and covers, temporary sanitary sewer service provisions, replacement of existing 18” drainage trunk line with 650± feet of new twin 24” reinforced concrete pipe and 915± feet of new twin 24” DIP, replacement and/or repair of existing catch basins, frames and grates, milling and resurfacing of existing asphalt overlay, areas of full depth asphalt pavement replacement, installation of a traffic signal at the King Street and North/South Greeley Avenue intersection, reconfiguration of the Quaker Road and South Greeley Avenue intersection, streetscape amenities such as new granite curbing, concrete patterned and colored sidewalks with brick paver trim, decorative brick crosswalks, ADA compliant warning surfaces, areas of decorative bluestone, ornamental LED lighting, new / refinished benches, trash receptacles, fluted bollards, bicycle racks, seat walls, ornamental fencing, an informational kiosk, planter boxes, new trees with identification plaques, tree grates and up-lighting and a decorative clock.
