Chappaqua Train Station, Pocket Park and Glazier Preserve: Spring 2021 Tree and Herb Planting. The Town of New Castle is accepting written proposals for relocating 28 temporarily row planted nursery trees located at Warburg Preserve (206 Pines Bridge Road), to be planted at clustered locations on various Town owned lands and within two Town Parks. The specific planting location for each tree shall be determined and field marked by the Town’s Environmental Coordinator. Nursery stock for herb planting within Quaker Road retaining wall ledge to be procured by, and planted by contractor.

Everyone submitting a proposal will be required to attend a site visit starting at Warburg Preserve to view the temporarily planted trees. Following Warburg, travel would proceed to the Chappaqua Train Station and Pocket Park to review planting locations. The final destination would be Glazier Preserve to review planting location behind existing crab apple alee.
