Request for Proposal (RFP) Sprinkler System for Guilderland EMS Station 3

Introduction: The Town of Guilderland Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is a vital
component of our community. EMS 3 is centrally located at 1 Arthurs Place in the heart of
Guilderland, New York. As a key location for the deployment of EMS assets, our station plays a
critical role in providing emergency medical services to all areas within our coverage area.

Guilderland EMS responds to approximately 6,700 advanced life support level calls annually,
serving as a lifeline during times of crisis and emergencies. With our commitment to ensuring
the safety and well-being of our residents and personnel, the need for a reliable and efficient
sprinkler system at EMS Station 3 is paramount.

I. Background: Guilderland EMS is in the final stages of completing its EMS Station 3 and
requires a sprinkler system to ensure the safety and protection of its personnel, equipment, and
facilities.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
TOWN OF GUILDERLAND
SPRINKLER SYSTEM EMS STATION 3

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received for the Installation of a Sprinkler System at Guilderland EMS Station 3, 1 Arthurs Place, Guilderland, NY 12084.

Bids will be received until 10:00 A.M. March 29, 2024, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud at the Town Clerk’s Office, Town Hall, 5209 Western Tpk., Guilderland.

Detailed specifications may be obtained at the Guilderland Town Clerk’s Office or by emailing BuchananL@togny.org. The Town Board and Guilderland EMS reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bids may be modified or withdrawn at any time prior to the opening date upon written request to the Town.

Bids must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope marked “Sprinkler System for Guilderland EMS Station 3” and mailed to:
