SWAP EQUIPMENT AND NECESSARY WIRING FROM 2000 FREIGHTLINER AND INSTALL ON A 2024 CAB AND CHASSIS.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals are sought and requested for the Town of Halfmoon Highway Department, 322 Route 146 Halfmoon, NY 12065 to swap all plow and dump body equipment and necessary wiring as well as hydraulic and any other related equipment from a 2000 Freightliner and installing on a 2024 cab and chassis.
Sealed proposals will be received by the Town Clerk, Town of Halfmoon, Town Hall, 2 Halfmoon Town Plaza, Halfmoon, NY, 12065 by 1:15 pm on September 13, 2024. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at or around 1:15 pm on the same day. A bid which is not time and date stamped will not be considered.
Bid specifications (known as Bid Spec.5-2024) may be examined at the Town of Halfmoon, Town Clerk’s Office located at 2 Town Plaza, Halfmoon, NY 12065 and at www.bidnetdirect.com//townofhalfmoon. Proposals shall be submitted with detailed specifications of the items proposed to be furnished on the form provided.
The contract for the above will be awarded by the Town Board to the lowest responsible bidder. In cases, where two or more responsible bidders submit identical bids as to price, the Town Board may award the contract to either of such bidders. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any alternate proposal not significantly altering the bid specification.
No bid received may be withdrawn by any bidder for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of the bid opening.
