Contract 1: General Construction
Obtain New York State Department of Transportation Highway Work Permit; obtain Town of Rotterdam Highway Work Permit; providing and installing of the sanitary sewer system; providing and installing of the Carman Road pumping station, equipment, and building; removing, disposing, providing and installing of select equipment at the Fourth Street pumping station; provide temporary bypass; protection of existing utilities and site features; protection of or replacement of monumentation; trenching and excavations including removal and disposal; trenching and excavations full depth restoration; grading; paving; selective tree, stump, and brush removal; installation of stormwater facilities; erosion and sediment control and compliance with the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan; coordination with utility companies; maintenance and protection of traffic; coordination with local residents, businesses, schools, and emergency responders; perform final connections and startup; site restoration; and record drawings.
Contract 2 – Electrical Construction
Provide electrical work as indicated on the Contract Documents for a new electrical service entrance and associated power distribution equipment as indicated on the contract documents. Provide branch circuitry and electrical feeders to all equipment as shown on the Contract Drawings; provide a new emergency generator and automatic transfer switch for the facility as indicated on the drawings; provide all indicated electrical removal work associated with the demolition of the existing electrical equipment; restoration; and record drawings.
