Piggyback Contract

Description

This contract consists mainly of the following work, as shown on the plans:

Remove & Replace existing windows with new double hung vinyl windows
Remove & replace existing roofing
Remove & replace existing siding with new vinyl siding (including all accessories and fasteners)
Masonry entrance stairs repairs
Remove & replace gutters and down spouts
Other miscellaneous improvements & repairs
Final cleanup and surface restoration

The work shall be substantially completed within 100 calendar days of the date of the Notice to Proceed.

Any discrepancies or omissions found in the drawings or specifications shall be brought to the attention of the Engineer, Morris Associates Engineering & Surveying Consultants, PLLC. (Thomas Harvey Phone: 845-454-3411 ext. 18).

Separate sealed Bids completed on forms provided with the Bidding Documents will be received by the Town Clerk, Town of Wappinger, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590 until 11:00 a.m. (local time) on August 31st, 2018 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “SCHLATHAUS PARK BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT”.

The Bidding Documents may be reviewed at and obtained from the office of the Town Clerk, Town of Wappinger, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590 on or after August 3rd 2018. Pursuant to the provisions of GML 102, persons requesting a CD containing the bid documents may obtain them at no charge.
