Important Note to Vendors:
The successful bidder shall agree that the items and quantities stated are only approximate based on prior years experience. It is the intent of the Village to order the trees this spring (April). The Village reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantities stated in the proposal. The Village also reserves the right not to purchase any of the items listed in the proposal in total or part. Actual items and quantities to be ordered will be issued in writing to the successful bidder.
The Village reserves the right to award separate proposal items to various bidders. The Village would do this if it determines a purchase order in part, to various bidders, would be in the best interest of the Village.
The items will be available for pick-up or delivered to the Village in not more than seven (7) calendar days after an order is placed with the successful bidder, unless otherwise approved by the Village.
The plant material called for, in the manner and within the time prescribed for the above price(s) shall be honored for the period of nine (9) months, April 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009.
