RFB-WC 27-08 - BITUMINOUS CONCRETE

Summary of Specifications:
SCOPE OF WORK: Bids will be received for furnishing and/or placing "Bituminous Concrete" as follows: (Bituminous Concrete quoted in this proposal will be manufactured at the plant listed under "Plant Location". A) F.O.B. Vendors Plant - Trucking of Bituminous Concrete shall be the responsibility of the Warren County Dept. of Public Works or other County political subdivisions. 

B) F.O.B. Project Site - Vendor to furnish and deliver Bituminous Concrete containing Dolomitic/Limestone 1A aggregate to specific County project locations listed herein. (See enclosed 2008 Road Construction Map) 

C) Vendor in Place* - Vendor to furnish, haul and place Bituminous Concrete containing Dolomitic/Limestone 1A aggregate using vendors equipment, labor and material at specific County project locations listed herein. (See enclosed 2008 Road Construction Map). 

*For Bituminous Concrete, Delivery and LAY DOWN CHARGES: Contractor shall be responsible for maintenance of Traffic. Contractor shall also cut keyways at the project limits. Tack coat will NOT be required. Warren County will pave and repair driveways within the limits of the work. 

D) Price per Metric Ton in addition to F.O.B. vendors plant bid prices in (A) - to furnish and deliver Bituminous Material to other political subdivisions within the County of Warren without specific project locations
