Summary of Specifications:
Bidder agrees to furnish material specified, loaded on trucks and delivered to each project site in Warren County in quantities of at least 1200 metric tons per eight (8) hour day. Monday through Friday, at times to be determined by the County Foreman in charge: 1 Metric Ton = 1.1023 x English Ton (2000 lb.). Bidders trucks shall be equipped with tailgate aprons, and material shall be covered in transit. Payment will be for the number of metric tons delivered times the price per ton F.O.B. project as per "B" in the SCOPE OF WORK. It is mutually understood that the bidder will be notified, as far in advance as possible, as to the projected total quantities and types of bituminous concrete required and the approximate date their delivery is to be made.
