Summary of Specifications:
The Base Bid work for the project consists of repair work for the existing structural steel bridge superstructure including, but not limited to, environmental protections, scaffolding, staging, additional maintenance and protection of traffic for construction safety within the work zone, paint removal and surface preparation for repainting at work areas, selective demolition for deteriorated framing members and connections, fabrication and replacement of steel framing members and connections, repainting at work areas, and all items indicated on the Drawings and in the Project Manual as required for a complete and operation facility.
