RFB-WC 68-14 - Federal Aid Transportation Project Materials

Summary of Specifications:
SCOPE OF WORK: 

The work covered under this bid includes furnishing the following materials either F.O.B. at the vendor’s plant or delivered to the designated site in Warren County, New York in accordance with the requirements contained herein. 

• Subbase Course, Type 2 • Crushed Stone • Stone Fill – Light and/or Medium • Topsoil • Portland Cement Concrete • Hot Mix Asphalt, 9.5 F3 Top Course • White Preformed Reflectorized Pavement Markings • Embedded Detectable Warning Strips 

COUNTY, STATE AND/OR FEDERAL FUNDS: 

The purpose of this bid is to allow the purchase of the above listed materials by the County and/or Municipal Subdivisions for projects funded in whole or in part with Federal funds. The bidder shall familiarize themselves with all Federal Aid contract requirements contained herein and in Attachment A (entitled Appendix 12-1). 

All materials furnished under this contract shall be from a New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) approved source. If the material is not a NYSDOT approved source prior to submission of the bid, the supplier shall familiarize themselves with the approval process requirements and shall have the respective material approved by NYSDOT prior to furnishing the material under the contract.
