RFB-WC 85-08 - Modernization of Existing Elevators at the Warren County Municipal

Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of these specifications to purchase and install an electro-mechanical hydraulic elevator safety brake for two elevators located in the Warren County Municipal Center, 1340 State Route 9, Lake George, NY. Vendor shall thoroughly survey and measure existing jack and pit areas to determine proper fit and manufacturing of safety brake. Vendor shall also work with Warren County to apply for any code variances that may be needed if tight pit conditions reduce available runby distances.Vendor shall install new speed detector and associated cabling in the hoistway and install the safety brake controller and make all associated wiring interfaces with the brake and elevator controls.If needed Vendor will install buffer blocking and/or strike extensions to achieve proper runby distances. The elevators to be modernized are a hydraulic Dover E18280 and a hydraulic Dover E18279.
