RFB-WC 51-14 - One 2014 or Later model Airport Broom Vehicle

INTENT: It is the intent of these specifications to describe: 

ONE (1) 2014 OR LATER MODEL YEAR, 4X4 ALL WHEEL DRIVE, HEAVY DUTY, CAB FORWARD CHASSIS WITH 18 FOOT RUNWAY BROOM ATTACHMENT 

for purchase and delivery to Warren County at the Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport, 443 Queensbury Avenue, Queensbury, NY 12804. This vehicle shall be all wheel drive and must be designed and manufactured in the United States, for the specific purpose of snow removal, with a minimum 50,000 lb. GVW rating, approximate wheel base of 164". The configuration shall be suitable for front mounted attachments and shall be fitted with a dedicated 18 foot runway broom. The forward mounted cab design shall have near center steering and a rear mounted chassis drive engine. The intended use of this vehicle is to clear snow and debris from airport pavement surfaces.
