Summary of Specifications:

SCOPE OF SERVICES: It is the intent of these specifications to secure services from a vendor for preventative maintenance and service on the specified communications equipment set forth in the “Detailed Equipment Specifications” on page 8, for the term specified. Service shall consist of all parts (with $250 maximum deductible) and labor necessary to maintain the listed radio equipment in working order in full compliance with all Federal Communications Commission operational parameters, and all non-radio equipment in working order to manufacturers specifications and maintained and adjusted to perform its intended function. Preventative maintenance shall consist of quarterly inspections of all non-mobile units and yearly inspection of other units. The units will be inspected for transmit power output and receiver sensitivity, as specified by the manufacturer, and any repairs or adjustments needed to bring them back to within manufacturer’s specifications. A written report of each inspection or repair listed above shall be completed and filed with the County’s representative, including county identification, model, and serial number.
