Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of this Agreement that the Consultant provide Periodic Asbestos/Lead Consultant Services on an individual “Letter of Authorization” basis in conjunction with the management of the Department of Public Works (and may extend to other County Departments requiring services during the term of the contract). It is anticipated that the services provided by the Consultant will be primarily related to, but not limited to, asbestos and lead surveys, abatement design and project monitoring for County bridges, buildings and other structures. Tasks will be identified by the County from time to time for which certain professional services shall be provided by the Consultant, and the County will pay the Consultant for services rendered in accordance with Schedule “B” of the Agreement. Professionals are cautioned that no minimum amount of services will be required under this contract, and that there is no minimum guaranteed amount of work hereunder. Payment shall be only for work requested by the County Superintendent of Public Works. Supplemental work or additional services to the tasks for which the Consultant has been retained, may be requested from the Consultant in the subsequent year for which the Consultant Agreement is in effect. The Consultant will be expected to perform services at the same rate(s) set forth in the proposal provided in response to this RFP.
