Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of these contract specifications to obtain qualified contractors to provide rental of Pickup Sweeping Equipment for the County of Warren. The service will be primarily for, but not limited to, the County of Warren. Additionally, upon written approval of the Superintendent of Public Works, the service may be utilized by local governments, school districts and others authorized by law. Accordingly, references to the County and its agencies as users under this proposal and specification and the ensuing contracts shall encompass and include these entities. The purpose of the bid documents is to request bids from contractors and qualify contractors for the performance of Pickup Sweeping Equipment Rental. A vendor may bid on one option, several options or all options, provided they can deliver full service to the entire bid. No additional charges or refusal of service will be accepted due to distance of travel required within the County except charges for additional mileage. The vendor is required to provide full service without any additional charges other than mileage, regardless of their location. Once the bid is evaluated, contracts will be awarded to the lowest cost compliant vendor.
