These specifications are prepared for purposes of obtaining bids and having a successful bidder provide and deliver up to two (2) model year 2019 or newer truck type conventional 4x4 single axle carrier vehicle(s) with front mounted, reversible angle expressway snow plow, double wings with high speed chutes and material spreader. The number of vehicles is all dependent on the FAA grant.
The low responsible bidder shall be prepared to hold their bid prices for fabrication/production commencing as late as December of 2019. The execution of the Contract is dependent upon the receipt of an FAA grant. The FAA grant will be awarded to Warren County by September 30, 2019 and the Contract will be approved by the County BOS thereafter. County BOS approval is expected to occur within two months after the receipt of the FAA funding grant. This Contract does not allow for price escalation in cost. The bidder shall take this into consideration when preparing prices for bid. The equipment shall be delivered as early as possible in 2020, but no later than December 1, 2020. If the FAA grant is received earlier, the County and Vendor will advance with the contracts and expect delivery of the vehicle(s) within 365 days from contact execution.
